In the United States, more than 29 million people have diabetes. Over 8 million of those people may be undiagnosed. As a result, the medical field is constantly trying to fix the symptoms of diabetes that can worsen over time rather than treating the underlying causes of the disease.

At Valhalla Wellness Center, we don’t just use medication to immediately treat symptoms of diabetes; we also work with our patients to make personalized changes to their way of life in order to repair and reverse the damage their body has suffered.

Cellular Treatment

The results of our patient's lab work offer insight into the causes of diabetes at a cellular level. Instead of just trying to keep up with the symptoms of the disease, we can find how each specific patient can improve the function of their cellular membranes. Treatment can include:

  • Changes to diet
  • Changes to exercise
  • Eliminating toxic products put into and used around the body

Symptoms of Diabetes

Each cellular membrane has a doorway for glucose to enter the cell. When the doorway is resistant, the glucose remains in the bloodstream. This leads to initial symptoms, such as:

  • Fatigue
  • Increased thirst and urination
  • Blurred vision
  • Mood changes

When left untreated, patients’ symptoms continue to become more severe and ultimately leads to:

  • Dental diseases
  • Sleep apnea
  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Kidney disease
  • Blindness

Valhalla Wellness Center Difference

Our treatment plan helps patients to correct the parts of their lifestyle that cause the inflammation of the cellular membrane. When the membrane heals, the body starts to heal. Most, if not all, Diabetes symptoms can be reduced and eliminated

Transcript:

"The treatment of diabetes is unique for us, is because we work on it from a cellular level. That's where the underlying problem is.

The cell membrane contains a lot of these key and lock mechanisms that just don't work anymore. They get worn out over the years and so, therefore, the insulin that the body's producing is not working as effectively.

And so, therefore, the glucose levels rise in the bloodstream. Because it can't go through the cell anymore to give the energy that the body needs and as it gets built up with the bloodstream that creates the problems and the collateral damage for the body.

When we treat the underlying problem, then what happens is the body is allowed to heal appropriately. So the collateral symptoms or damage that's occurring will start to heal because you're taking away the underlying problem which is the inflammatory issue."
